Island Hopping–Day 18

Today we had a leisurely day driving up to Nanaimo. Dear Hubby was happy as he finally found a Tim Horton’s to have his coffee. For the past 17 days he’s been without it, not coffee altogether but his Timmy’s. The harbour at Nanaimo is beautiful, a huge boardwalk to saunter along, while you watch the boats in the bay. We saw a few sea planes take off and land. Saw the cutest little black rabbit..up close and personal…we were about 2 feet away and he didn’t even care.SAM_2820SAM_2818SAM_2826

Again not a very exciting day to share with quilters so I’ll add some more Sisters Quilt Show pics to sweeten the pot.

I really loved this little log cabin. It was in a special display of small quilts. If I can recall it was about 24 X 18 or so….and was sold! It was beautiful.
