Two for the price of one

What a bonus when you get two quilt from one. A few years back we visited Las Vegas and my Dear Hubby was kind enough to take me to a few quilt shops that are in the area. At one of the shops, the Christmas Goose,  I picked up a lovely kit  called The Vintage Homestead. I finally, a few years later, got around to making it. The kit was quite generous in its fabric and I managed to get another quilt out of the scraps leftover. All I needed for the extra quilt was a small amount for sashings and borders. The kit was originally $60.00 so I think I did OK as both quilts are about lap size....it's nice when you get a bonus!
